Since 2020, we’ve been part of the Open Education Movement — sharing free, science-backed educational media on the world of work with learners everywhere. We exist in the space where research meets practice, where storytelling carries insight, and where every voice earns its place on merit.
We believe career support shouldn’t be determined by budget, background, or the opportunities someone was never given.
That belief is why we built Career Bar by The Humans of HR — to make the kind of guidance, tools, and expertise once reserved for the few available to everyone, everywhere.
We also believe that technology, when built with purpose, is one of the most powerful equalizers of our time. We’re proud to prove it — one career, one country at a time.
What We Stand For
A Platform Six Years in the Making
What started as a publishing space grew into something harder to name and more meaningful: a place where learners, experts, and practitioners found each other. Those six years — every contributor who shared their knowledge, every learner who came back — are the foundation Career Bar is built on.
Our next chapter is guided by the same principles, and backed by something deeper: original psychometric research. The Humans of HR is developing its own science-based coaching assessment tools — built from the ground up, designed to make career development more intelligent and more human at once.
The vision is simple, even if the work isn’t: a single platform where where you start doesn’t determine where you go, and where the tools, knowledge, and human expertise to build a meaningful career belong to everyone.
