Increasing Your Employee Engagement With Gamification

Written by Rossina Gitto, Founder @ The Humans of HR, July 2020

Did you know? In May, a white book with a collection of 27 trends of the Future of Work was released by one of the top HR schools in France: the CIFFOP. This school belongs to the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, which is well known for its law school programs.

I had the amazing opportunity to study International HR Management at the CIFFOP and also be a part of their Future of Work Week, where I was assigned the mission of becoming an expert in gamification and teaching others how it can be applied to HR management. According to a Business News Daily Expert (2020), gamification is the application of game-playing elements to traditional non-game environments and its aim is to encourage engagement.

In the white book, there’s an article I wrote dedicated to gamification where you can read all about the trend, and also access two case studies of how Latvian Airline Air Baltic and French Alcoholic Beverages Multinational Pernod Ricard are applying gamification in their HR practices.

If you feel inspired by it, you can also go ahead and check out the rest of the other 26 FOW trend articles, written by an international group of HR professionals.
